The light flicks on a half hour before the alarm setting easing me into wakefulness. It is a much more natural way to wake up. ### ⭐⭐ Gets bright really fast, not gradual *by V***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2018* Too difficult to program, it's very finicky and if you don't do it fast enough it goes back to the previous time. Not a very gradual light increment, starts at 25%, then 50, 75, and 100%. At 50% it's like turning on a light and a very abrupt awakening.The other day I accidentally touched a button on the front and now every night at 11 p.m. the light comes on. The display can be completely turned off at night so I don’t have to deal with any ambient light - even the time display turns off. When the alarm goes off in the morning, the time display comes back on along with the gradual sunrise lighting - which is great.
