Extremely light weight. Easily gets caught be snags branches or basically anything. Take time care and go slow and all is well. The square openings were smaller than I imagined them to be. It is hard to put on the trees and at 7 feet wide doesn't cover a very big area of the canopy of even dwarf trees. We used it on elderberry bushes and the birds still were able to get the elderberries through the netting. It is easier with two people to drape nettings over grape vines. We secured them with landscaping staples. It did its job keeping out the birds from eating our grapes.
