Review: A rigorous Norwegian grammar course. - I agree that the Norwegian Tutor is a little more difficult than the exercises in the TY Norwegian books, but that is because it is a rigorous grammar course. Over the years, the TY courses have become ever more simple, when compared with the earliest editions, until they are little more than extended phrase books. I am happy to see that there are still people at TY who take language learning seriously. If the shoe does not fit, that doesn't make the shoe defective. A one star rating is not fair to the authors who have worked hard bring something new to language learning.

I agree that the Norwegian Tutor is a little more difficult than the exercises in the TY Norwegian books, but that is because it is a rigorous grammar course. This says it is for the intermediate learner, but it is not a good next step for someone who has already done a full first-year course of Norwegian. It's very in depth, which might be great for some learners, but was not what was advertised.
