That has a part that protrudes from it and hits your legs in a way that makes it a bit uncomfortable when using it on your lap. The BND battery fits perfectly and since it is flat solves the lap problem. The battery life is as expected; these Studios were not known for long battery life, so 2-3 hours from the BND is great. The only thing I have noticed is that if that piece on the bottom is supposed to light up when you press the button on the battery, it doesn't. Not really a problem though as I leave it connected to the laptop at all times.
