Such a breeze to use— I use the draining basket to rinse my leafy greens, set it in the clear bowl, then snap on the lid and turn the handle. The handle turns smoothly and effortlessly and removes all the excess water quickly without damaging any of the leaves. The salad tastes fresher without sogginess, and the dressing sticks better to the clean, dry lettuce. One feature that sets this spinner apart from others is the draining lip on its cover where you can pour out any of the water collected in the bowl while the lid is still on. I also use the bowl to store any unused salad greens, the bowl doesn’t take up much room in the refrigerater, and storing greens in the spinner really extends the shelf life of the greens and keeps them fresh!!
