Although this isn's as portable as an X-mini (its not far off it), it looks much better and produces a much bigger sound.It doesn't bounce along my desk like the X-mini and can be daisy chained just as the X-mini can.The sound is far superior in both a volume and clarity perspective. I paid under £20 for mine but wouldn't pay more, if you want large room filling sound you'll need 2. If its a small to medium room and your not using it to host a party its great. Connected it up to my laptop and made film watching a far more enjoyable experience.
