As to unsealed, I am not sure what you mean. It should not have been opened. I have bought 8-hour cream here but prefer to go to the actual Arden website. There you will always be certain it is the official product. **Q: Is the 6.8oz also a hand cream??? Same as the 2.5oz ??** A: I don’t know what the first person is talking about. This is excellent hand cream and the same as the moisturizing lotion in the small tube. I use it for face and lips too. **Q: Does it help thinning skin on inner arms?** A: Eight hour cream doesn’t help Thinning skin. It’s good for dry skin and it’s a very good treatment to keep your skin in fabulous shape and well conditioned.
