The dinosaur's legs and neck are fold-able to fit in the egg. The dinosaur can be unfolded to stand up on its's own. The legs can pop off, so I had to put them back on for my 2 year old a couple of times because he is not gentle with toys. The good news is unlike other toys, the legs can be put back on and are not permanently broken.
