Now I'll have to write Amazon to explain.I enjoy pumpkin, sunflower and watermelon seeds in the hull.To me, the taste of roasted and salted seeds in the hull is far superior than eating hulled seeds. I prefer less salt than some seeds have, and I prefer organic but that is a difficult task considering many seeds come from different countries. Initially I wrote that I did not try them. Two days after I received them, I did try them. They are delicious, seem fresh and I would by them again if the description was accurate. I will not pay 11 dollars for 1/2 pound of seeds. That would ludicrous.So I will get them locally. Much less expensive.I looked for an expiration stamp but could not find one. If you're not used to popping seeds with your teeth these are not for you. But for those of us who have been doing it our whole lives they're fine. The shell comes apart in two pieces. You then have to use your teeth to get half of the seed out of each half shell. It's some work but it's fun! They're plenty salty for me (not too much).
