Pestana e rastilho são de material sintético urea. Segura bem a afinação, tenho há quase 1 ano e não apresentou nenhum defeito de construção ou acabamento. Vem com bolsa de transporte própria da Yamaha que é um show a parte, muito bem construída e no formato preciso do violão, melhor que um hardcase na minha opinião. Muito confortável de tocar e para mim que tenho mãos pequenas facilita bastante ter escala curva com menor largura, parecido com uma guitarra. Os compositores e músicos Rodrigo y Gabriela utilizam a versão top ele com a NTX 5e ela com a NCX 5 que tem medidas de violão clássico.
