The first one I received had a hole in it a little smaller than the size of a dime a few inches from the ridge line. Not a tear, it looked like a cigarette burn - a perfect circle. I returned it and received another a day before departing on a weekend camping trip. On the second day, one of the two ridge line plastic D-rings snapped without warning into two pieces. I had to tie the guy wire through the edge fabric to hold up for the second night. Needless to say, I'm returning it. Aside from the hole and cheap plastic hardware, this tarp seemed well made.
