There were no inscriptions on mine. I do not believe I will ever go back to using my wheel type pizza cutter. The LamsonSharp knife is easier to use and easier to clean up. The pizza slices are cut cleaner with the knife and there is less cheese mess in terms of the cheese sticking to the cutter. Also, the slices tend to stay separate from each other better, with less cheese re-fusion between the cut slices. Of course, with any cutting technique it is best to let the pizza cool for a minute or two before cutting it to lessen the flowing, stringy cheese problem.
