I ran a network speed test on the star tech USB 30 to Ethernet vs a gigabit lan network connection to the internet thru Comcast and got similar connection speeds with both. The short answer is no. This adapter does not support LACP, or link aggregation. The ability to "turn on" LACP is done at the os level, but the hardware still needs to support 802.3ad. This one does not have that hardware ability. I have an Intel Adapter on my motherboard and I've teamed all three connections, no problem. I wasn't able to use a USB extension without it dropping one of the ports, but it's not that big of deal.
