I have been using what most people would consider the "gold standard" and tried basically all of their flavors that sounded worth a try. After buying other Amazon branded products and being pleasantly surprised with how good they all have been I finally decided to pull the trigger on trying their whey protein.The own pwr chocolate cake batter tastes really good. It really does have the same smell even as a box mix cake. As far as tatse is concerned it is a 5/5.It mixed well with just water also. I use 2 servings in one shake and use a small shaker, it took maybe a little more shaking to get it mixed as compared to the gold standard but I think this is more with the serving size. For this own pwr it is 37g a serving. For the gold standard it is 34g. So it is possible the extra 6g for two servings was the reason for it taking a little longer.For nutrition, I would need to use this product exclusively and for a long period of time to really be able to tell, however as long as it actually has the 25g protein per serving and is 140 calories per serving that is fine by me. All whey protein has naturally occurring bcaa's. So that is no different here.Overall Amazon has provided another very good product, at a competitive price. I will be buying it again. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tastes. I've mixed it with water, milk, and even coffee. Most whey protein powders do the same thing add protein to your diet. Going over the ingredients it's pretty basic stuff and the amino acid mix is in line with most major brands. Here's where it gets good. Gluten free (my wife is sensitive) and cleared by informed sport.com to be banned substance free (for those who get tested in competition) up side you can get or from Amazon for about the same price as everybody else, it mixes great, tastes good and is banned substance free. I have noticed that my recovery time is shorter but i can't say it's the protein but when you're over 40 anything that works is a step in the right direction.
