The color was a perfect match. I peeled the backing off each sheet and the adhesive backing was so strong that I had to be very careful because it was difficult to remove the sheet from my hands. When applying the sheets to the scratched areas they grabbed hold instantly and smoothly to the sofa. These patches are there to stay. I have reordered some more today. Highly recommend these sheets because of the strong adhesive backing. ### ⭐ Does not stick well and it is thick *by J***N on September 26, 2018* This item does not work at all! It is really thick and does not stick. I needed to patch up a spot on my door panel in my car that my puppy tore by accident and it was no good. I cleaned the surround area and make sure it was prepped and ready to be patch. The following morning, it was already peeling off and later on in the afternoon, it was completely off the inside door panel. Maybe it was the heat but It was already peeling in the garage overnight.. Not worth it. I temporarily used some electrical black tape at the moment to patch up the rip and it is working better than the Leather repair patch I've purchased. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Pros and Cons *by B***I on November 30, 2018* When I bought these, it was to replace old leather patches of a different brand. What happened was those had stuck well, but eventually they pulled off the old leather and came off and the hole came back. I bought these because I liked that they don't have stitching patterns on them. Unfortunately, they're not that sticky. They're already coming off after only a month.
