Das Gerät arbeitet auf 12-Volt-Basis mit einer Lithium-Ionen-Hochleistungszelle und liefert bis zu 2000 Ampere Spitzenstrom. In der Praxis genügt diese Stromstärke, um zuverlässig Benzinmotoren bis 8,0 Liter sowie mehrere 6,0-Liter-Dieselmotoren zu starten. Die UltraSafe-Schutzarchitektur überwacht permanent Verpolung, Kurzschluss, Überstrom, Überspannung und Zelltemperatur. Funkenbildung konnte ich auch unter Lastwechseln nicht feststellen. Die massiven Starterklemmen sind kupferverstärkt, vollisoliert und weisen einen sehr geringen Übergangswiderstand auf. Dadurch bleibt der Spannungsabfall während des Startvorgangs minimal. Das gummierte Gehäuse ist mechanisch sehr stabil, vibrationsunempfindlich und spritzwassergeschützt. Die integrierte LED-Taschenlampe mit Dauer-, Strobe- und SOS-Modus liefert ausreichend Licht für nächtliche Arbeiten.
