## Questions & Answers

**Q: Should i power this with 5v or 3.3v? also, do i need a ttl logic converter to convert from 5v to 3.3v logic?**
A: 3.3v is recommended.  2.3 to 5.2 range is specified, but the logic levels for comm data is only 3.3v, so if you are running from a 5v supply, I'd level shift it to 3.3 volts.  The spec sheet says >=5v power for maximum transmission power, but not sure I trust that when logic signal strictly States over 3.3v could damage the unit.

Mine was run from an ESP32 at 3.3v.  No issues.

**Q: Can these be connected to USB?**
A: Yes, it can be connected to USB.

**Q: Will this work with 900 mhz ism two way radio?**
A: This is a half duplex module that uses the LoRa protocol for communication, can you tell me what type of module you are using?

**Q: Can this be used with a PIC24 microcontroller?**
A: Yes, watch your data rate you can’t feed much data without overflowing the buffer. Send a few bytes at a time.

So good I bought 2! These are perfect for prototyping any type of radio equipment where you need 915MHz! Using this with my Pi and its small size makes it perfect fit for my use. I also wanted to ability to change antennas for my own use, and it gives me that functionality! A must if you are doing something similar! I feel a bit steep on price, but the quality makes up for it so I don’t feel so bad!

Tried getting this to work with ESPHome on Home Assistant following numerous online projects, but without success. Not sure all the needed connections are exposed (at least for the esphome framework)
