The garlic taste is strong but not overpowering. They're nice and creamy and so incredibly easy. Heat water, pour the packet into a bowl, pour in the water, let sit, stir, and eat. A lot easier and I think tastier than peeling and cutting and boiling and mashing potatoes. I also like that I can stock up on these and know I have stuff for easy dinners for awhile, whatever flavors I buy or what meals I pair them with. The price is also excellent.
