Solid all around. I put a Westcott Rapid Box Octa XXL -- along a Streaklight 360 -- with sandbags on the boom without any problems in mild windy conditions. I am glad I bought these instead of the lower cost ones -- extra $50!. I already owned a black one, and decided to get a chrome one as well. Though this stand is very sturdy and does what I need, I'm a bit annoyed at the misleading image they had used showing it with a removable turtle base.
