Review: A Quality Product - I purchased this to move my trailers around my property. It was relatively easy to assemble, instructions were good, and it was packaged adequately and arrived in good condition. I've already used it, because I was waiting on it to move a trailer. It worked perfectly, didn't complain, and was able to move a small 2,200 lb RV with a tongue weight of 250lb easily on flat terrain. One caution, and it was likely my fault, is that I stripped the receiving threads for one of the 4 bolts in the unpainted piece that connects the top part of the handle to the rest of the unit. The bolts use a spring washer and as I tightened the bolt, I felt it give way and confirmed that the receiving threads were stripped. Given that the other bolts use nuts and are heavy duty and can take much torque, I advise being more gentle with these four bolts into that particular part. I guess I could order a replacement, but I'll see how it goes for now. The BIGGEST issue I had with this order was NOT the product, but with desertcart delivery. When I placed this order, there was a countdown flag that said order within 2 hours to receive by Mar 25, which I did. I was logged in, so it desertcart knew my address. It was stated that it would arrive then in the email order confirmation, it was shipped early enough, but while waiting on it to arrive on Mar 25 to move my newly received trailer out of my driveway, I received an email from desertcart telling me that they were "sorry" and that delivery would now be Mar 26. I understood this to be "guaranteed delivery" when there is an "order by" flag, but don't believe it. I paid $28 on a $79 product for fast delivery. I've tried repeatedly to contact desertcart to request a refund on the shipping, but there is apparently no way to do so. Every possible attempt has ended in a dead-end with no human in sight. I'm sick of desertcart. Unfortunately, sometimes, especially in Alaska, there are few other options. I've had such ridiculously bad delivery experience with desertcart in the past, that I ONLY use desertcart as a last resort, even if I end up paying more somewhere else (like eBay). One of my better purchases. Moves trailer easily, even when fully loaded. **Q: Shank diameter?** A: The dolly is shipped with a 1-7/8" ball, with 5/8" shank. Used nov. 1, and worked just great for moving my trailer to storage. I'm 83 yrs. old, and it was a snap! **Q: I bought this and want to know what psi to fill the tires? It isn't stamped on the tire nor documented in the manual.** A: Based off of the tire size and rating I looked it up and found 50psi. This is a rugged, strong unit so a folding handle, like on a lawnmower, isn't part of the package. Better wheels, structure and assemblies. I have 2 others and have had to replace bent wheels. Haven't had much use with this one yet and am concerned with how close the wheels are to the tongue. All Round -- this unit is noticeably better built, with better parts. Solid one piece larger wheels and tires. I particularly like the adjustable handle and tow ability option. If in using, the wheels are clear of binding on the tow tongues of various light weight trailers I have... will return to add another star. UPDATE - found using this dolly good... features and use much better than most. My simple concerns to improving to a great product are, to warn customers about grips pulling off during use (or glue ‘em on), and the hitch pins staying attached to the provided cable wires for use as needed, (pin to cable connector rings are far too light weight). Keep an extra pin in your pocket. I need to replace a couple. I like the handle stand, especially when the hitch pin is hanging connected for use to lock and stabilize the drop stand. Some easy inexpensive fixes will make this value priced Dolly a great one. Towed with it once, worked good. Make sure your in tow load won’t roll when you disconnect.
