It's very soft but not very sticky. It feels kind of like bread dough. The colors are pretty, but they mix together quickly, just like play doh. Within an hour, the colors combined to make a sickly gray. My kids didn't seem to mind, though. It comes with some tiny foam balls to mix in, which are fun to play with but manage to spread all over the house. The one thing I didn't like was that the slime has a strong perfume scent. My kids liked the smell, but it was too much for me. I would consider this a temporary toy because it does dry out over time. It lasts longer if kept in an air-tight container. Even though the slime really sticks to clothes, it's completely washable. My kids ended up with quite a bit dried onto on their clothes. I didn't know what to do, so I put the clothes in some water to soak.
