Phthalates and petroleum products are the issue as was mention by chelleisay. This cream does not contain them so it is all good. we have been using it for a long time without issue regarding diaper absorption. Also, being 40% zinc oxide, you can dial down on the amount you use and still get great results. Awesome cream for cloth diaper users. **Q: When did they change the formula? I'd like to purchase one of the old/original formula tubes still available for sale but wonder if they'll be expired** A: Something is different. It doesn't work as good as the old bottle. I would also like to buy old bottle formula. I'm very disappointed. **Q: Does it have a strong scent?** A: No it really doesn't have a scent at all. **Q: can this be used for rash on face?** A: I don’t know about using it on the face. This cream is pretty thick and bright white.
