Now, the instructions *do* advise you to remove the batteries if you won't be using the device for an extended period of time. What I didn't realize, however, is that ONE day is considered an extended period of time.When this thing murdered the first set of batteries overnight, I tested a second set just to be sure it was the device and not the batteries. Sure enough, leaving them in overnight completely drained the batteries (Energizers). So in order to not need a new set of batteries every day you have to remove the batteries after each use.I'm back to using bag clips. ### ⭐ This product is a scam. The instructions first of all are in Chinese so good luck. I managed to Google translate them and did as they said. Held down the button for 10 seconds letting it heat to seal the plastic.
