At first it was super soft, but it now has rough pulls and snags all over the fabric. It also would smells terrible when I take it out of the dryer. I'd have to Fabreze it even though it was just washed. Its not heavy and she doesn't stick to the sheets she says. So far they have held up to her and her sleepovers and the animals. Our cats like to getting in the sheets when the bed is empty, and they have also given their approval. The black pattern has stood out on the sheets, cause i was worried about to much white with all the kids & animals but so far even being mostly white they sre holding up. They fit the standard pillows not the extra long ones.
