**Q: can this be used as a leave in?**
A: It's rather heavy, I wouldn't recommend using it as a leave in. This serum is used before chemical services to help moisturize the hair. I would recommend purchasing the leave-in from Affrim or try using Pravanna (Pravanna.com...) spray leave-in as it is not heavy and it will not leave your hair oily and weighed down. **Q: where are directions.**
A: The directions are in the back of the container: It Reads " Apply a small amount throughout whole head of hair. A thin coating is all that is required. Make sure is apply to entire head including new growth. Do not over wet hair, and do not rinse.

**Q: how do I use this product?**
A: Apply to hair prior to chemical (relaxer/perm) to protect hair during process.

**Q: can i use perservo 1 week after a relaxer**
A: Yes you can. It is designed to be used to protect the hair immediately prior to relaxing. However, you can use it anytime.
