Several of my pine trees were oozing sap, the nursery says caused by pitch moth. It lays eggs in bark of tree, larvae hatch and bore into tree, You spray this insecticide solution around base of tree, roots absorb it and it is penetrates entire tree killing larvae. I only recently treated tree so have no recommendation at this time. BAR **Q: Can I use this product on my indoor potted trees?** A: Yes you can use it on indoor plants. I use it as a drench for my African violets to get rid of mealy bugs. I really works. It is the same chemical as Marathon, but works better as a drench than Marathon dry insecticide. I mix 1/8 cup of Bonide per gallon of water. I use distilled water that I buy at the grocery store. Be sure that any pets you have do not drink or dig or otherwise mess with the treated plants, it might make them sick. **Q: Does this work for lantern flies?** A: Yes.
