With only a week or two before my trip, I needed boots that I didn't need to break in prior to leaving. Most boots I tried on were not terribly comfortable and I could tell I'd get some blisters breaking them in. The Ahnu were so comfortable and I couldn't feel any spots that would create blisters. Sure enough, I walked all over in city and on trails and never got a single blister. I loved my Ahnus.When I heard Teva bought the brand I was worried but I figured I'd give this new design a try. I just received the new shoes and tried them on. INSTANTLY I felt hot spots on my feet, just from walking around my house. This is completely different from my first experience trying on my first pair of Ahnus.While I suppose I could TRY these for a month or two to see if they maybe would work after I break them in, I'm not particularly interested in suffering through. I'm bummed that Teva has decided to change what made this brand great.Fortunately, I was able to find a pair of the old design in my size online. Hopefully I can make these last for a while, and I'll look for a new brand once these new "old model" ahnus wear out.Teva, take a hint from your customers and bring the brand you've bought back to why you bought it. Don't destroy it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had mixed emotions about these! *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2019* Not quite as good as my first pair of WOMANS Montera boots but better than nothing! After wearing my first pair for five years ( not worn out at all yet) I realized I better get another before they quit making them. Too late! I’m 71. The hips are going and I have neuropathy in my feet! Still I climbed Angels Landing in Zion wearing my old ones! They support my feet and body! We will see about the new ones. They didn’t feel like part of me the second I put them on like the originals did but I’m going to try various inserts and give them a shot. I love the color ,blue, and they are cute for a boot 🥾 I HATE that they say women’s while shopping then men’s when purchasing. Took me weeks to buy them because of that. Clarity is very important to online shopping! Either fix it or explain it! ### ⭐ Poor quality since Teva bought out Ahnu *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2019* I purchased a pair of Ahnus 4 years ago in May of 2015. They were rock stars. Wore them hiking up the Rockies, volcanoes in Australia, miles and miles of flat land hiking and years of every day use at work landscaping. Loved them. So I purchased another pair in May of 2019. Ahnu had been bought out by Teva. It is now December of 2019 and my boot treads are worn flat. The top of my right boot toe is separating. My feet ache every night. The quality of these boots is below sub standard and I am deeply disappointed to have spent top dollar for poor quality boots. Teva, you disappoint.
