A true #4 Ford is .160 inches. This is not a #4 Ford. It should take 10 seconds for water to run out of a cup if it is #4 Ford. This does not do that. Not sure what it is as I can't find info on the bore sizes of the various other types of viscosity cups. Don't know the rest of your questions. **Q: Will this work on any liquid? And do you time it or how does it work** A: It can be used on any liquid but the lower the viscosity the less time it takes to drain from the cup the less accurate the calculation will be.
