I do not like the noodle cup ramen or anything soupy, so after boiling these for a few minutes I drained the noodles and let them sit off to the side while I heated up the oil in the same pan. I added the flavoring packet (which is liquid and saves even more prep time), it sizzles in the oil and then I toss the noodles back in and stir until coated. I keep everything from dry garlic crisp, to chili oil crisp, liquid aminos, liquid ginger, rice vinegar, fish sauce, you name it on hand if I think my noodles need it, but I think these had plenty of flavor on their own and the texture is great.
