First thing's first, I had a tough time installing the rider seat because it was not as easy as the oem seat installation, I had to use force to match the bracket and the fender hole. But no big deal, I installed them under 10 minutes. At first glance, both seats are significantly larger than the oem seats especially the pillion seat. The seats are heavy and solid. The stiching is good. The vinyl they used looks different than leather, but I will get used to it. The looks is good, it fits the bike. Not as aesthetic looking as day tripper, or saddlemen profiler but it looks good. I had a quick and short 35 km test ride on my new seat. As everybody says, it puts you 1-2 inches/ 5 cm forward. But I am 1,7 meters tall about 5,7 feet and felt no discomfort at all. I felt very comfortable on the seat even though it is my first ride on it. I believe it will get better in time as we all know seat has a break-in period. The foam is not like in the oem one, it is firmer which I think is great. The main reason of comfort is the back support it provides. You feel like you are sitting on a very comfortable chair since your back is supported. Since the mustang rider seat is wider than oem seat, it covered all my hips which is good while riding, a bit bad while stopping for ex at a traffic light. All in all, I believe it is a good investment, because having a new seat is cheaper than having a new bike.
