They were easy to put together. And are very sturdy. I noticed a couple of reviews that said the back piece was too short. But the back piece fits perfectly if you get the legs on the right way. There are little stickers on the bottoms of the leg pieces that tell you which is the right leg and which is the left. The legs are designed so that the little front piece on the inside of the leg covers where the seat attaches so there is no pinching hazard created.
