For whatever reason, I have found most seating uncomfortable for decades, and I've searched high and low for an office chair that meets my needs. And I've tried lots of different pads/cushions in those office chairs to no avail. Placing this cushion on my office chair has made a world of difference. This cushion allows you to choose whether you want the inflation stable/firm throughout, or whether you want it to have some give to allow for a more malleable product that freshly conforms to your shape every time you sit down. I opted for the malleable. It has put an end to discomfort for me at my desk. It's air-filled with lots of air pockets rather than foam or something else that would retain a shape over time and stop being comfortable once it got too set in its ways. It's pricey, yes, but so were all those other cushions that I spent a lot more on over time.
