It had only 6 (mostly positive) reviews when I bought, but it met the required requirements and I took a chance on it.Despite the fact that I try to avoid goods made in China when there's another reasonable choice, this light is kind of the iPhone of flashlights - the exception rather than the rule to the usual "made in China" catastrophes. It is well finished, machined aluminum with a black anodized finish. The lens is clear and the reflector is nicely textured. The beam is just about flawless, being very bright, white, and symmetrical with a definite center spot.I especially like the lockout setting on the tail cap, since it will be in a bag with a bunch of other equipment, and I've come back to find my Surefire G2 Nitrolon light dead before, having contacted something that depressed the switch until the batteries died.The directions that come with the light are pretty rudimentary - suffice to say, when you select the brightest mode, you hold the tailcap switch down until it cycles through the brightness levels to get to the lowest setting - which with fresh batteries, is almost indiscernible from the brightest setting. When you're in strobe mode, hold the tailcap switch down until it enters the SOS mode.Usually saying "it's good for the price" is a way of justifying a substandard product, but this light performs as well as anything three times as expensive, so "for the price" it's an excellent purchase. I don't care much about the included filters, but it's nice to have them, as they act kind of like a Skylight 1A filter on a camera lens - an inexpensive way to protect the lens from scratches and dirt. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great light. I was surprised by the build quality ... *by E***L on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2014* Great light. I was surprised by the build quality of it. The light is solid, belt clip is tight. What is nice the the removable filters. They secure on to the head of the light tightly just by pushing them on. They are not going to "pop" off on their own that is for sure. The bezel looks anti-roll but it will wobble a bit. Not too bad but it will move. What I like is the dial on the back. It is a 3 setting light, touch-on, strobe and high intensity, but they dial allows you to pre-select what you want to happen when you touch the tail cap. No cycling through outputs to get where you want. What is also is nice is there is a lock-out feature on the dial, so you can set it to "lock" and not worry about the tail switch getting tapped and killing the batteries. Taking this out into the TX hills for camping/hunting this weekend so I will adjust the review if needed next week! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great defensive light for the money! *by B***O on Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2015* ALOHA, As a concealed Carry Instructor and defensive handgun combat instructor I use night training as part of my curriculum, students are looking for an affordable flash light with color lens features and bright light features, the red and blue are great filters and the light does not diminish its cover at any degree of light while shooting in the dark. Good up to 30+ plus feet for no light black out drills, this small light won't break the bank like most other lights available. I like it for its low cost, and versatile color lens capability. I have spent over 200 dollars(and higher!) on similar lights. IMO-its a good deal for the price!
