Very well made and of excellent yarn quality. I love it! What makes me especially happy is that no cashmere goats were shorn and had to die to make this beautiful scarf. Goats have little body fat and depend on their coats in the bitter climates of China/Mongolia where cashmere is typically sourced. The industry doesn’t care about that, though, and shears them in midwinter, causing vulnerable animals (many of them babies) to die of hypothermia. The same goes for Pashmina and Angora goats. For sheep, it’s even worse. Not only do hundreds of thousands of shorn sheep and lambs die of exposure each year during long, icy, windy treks of transport, countless ones die as a result of the wool industry’s brutal practice of mulesing. Have I mentioned that I love my acrylic scarf? 😊 ### ⭐⭐⭐ Made in China, Runs small *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2018* This just got delivered and I was really looking forward to having a cute new scarf for winter. Sadly, it is too tight around the neck when worn as shown in the picture. It does not drape at all, but bunches around the neck and it's just too much for me. I generally wear a 14-16W size and prefer a looser fitting infinity scarf. Also, the fabric seems like it might get scratchy after a while of wearing. The other not so great thing is that it is made in China, but so many things are these days. On the plus side it does seem well-made.
