Peanut oil should not have trans fat. Why is there around 5g trans fat in composition?

In most cold pressed oils, there is a chance of tiny quantity of trans fat showing up in a lab test. This could even be because of inconsistency in lab testing. Most manufacturers would claim 0%, but it may show up as .5% or 1% etc in a lab test. We have also seen different lab reports give different values for the same batch. To make the label claim technically safe, we declare it as less than 5%. It’s an insignificant quantity and not a cause of health concern.

There is no wheat, barely, rye processed in the unit. There’s only sesame, peanut, coconut and mustard being processed in the unit.
