This is one of the best tasting protein bars there is, at least what I have found, and I have tried many different brands, and different bars from each brand. The protein is a good amount, 26 gm, just the right carbs, 31 gm, and big enough to satisfy. I like peanuts, and this bar has plenty, in fact it is the first ingredient and I think a fair portion of the protein is from the nuts. Still, if you want to watch your fat intake, the nuts, albeit a good fat, will add some there, but not any more than if you had a good handful of nuts, but it still contains 19 gm, 7 of which is saturated. 7 g is monounsaturated, and 3.5 is polyunsaturated, which adds up to 17.5 grams, which has always dumbfounded me, why the individual fat counts never add up to the total! What could the remaining 1.5 grams of fat be? This I find is typical of most labels though.All that aside, I like this flavor the best. It has a better chocolaty taste than most others, and doesn't seem to be hard to chew (unlike some I have to tear my way through). It doesn't have any of that high fructose corn syrup, but it does contain some fractionated palm kernel oil. The reason I gave it 4 stars. Leaving this out will improve the bar tremendously, in my opinion. I have one every night with a cup of hot milk before going to bed. They are very tasty and not like any other health bar I have ever had. The problem I have had with this bar from other sellers and stores is that I receive them hard and stale, like they were either made wrong or they were beyond their expiration date for freshness. I have had to return them to the health food stores before because of that. He's been working out so I wanted to make sure he was getting enough protein. Most of the protein bars that I've tried myself were actually disgusting or had an after taste. I remember he once told me that he tried OhYeah! protein bars and he actually liked it. There were so many flavors to choose from and my boyfriend is usually very picky in taste wise. So I got him the chocolate caramel. Funny thing is that his friend came to visit him and thought it was just a regular chocolate candy bar. He started chewing away. He never realized it was a protein bar until my boyfriend came into the room and told him he was eating his protein bars. Conclusion of the story: this must mean these protein bars tastes just like candy :). After my boyfriend runs out I'll be getting him another box.
