Or do they come individually packaged? There seems to be conflicting reviews.** A: They do come in a padded foam box. They were previously packaged differently. **Q: where are the knives made?** A: The knives are German Steel made in China. However their cookware is made in Clarksville TN. **Q: Are these knives dishwasher safe?** A: I would never put my good knives in the dishwasher. I have several different good quality knives, they never get put in the dishwasher.
