A: Hello it is a pencil shape - I purchased this and it is a fantastic purchase - great quality and many compliments. Withstands all kinds of weather.

**Q: Is it a cane too with a rubber stopper to prevent slipping?**
A: It does function as a cane but it does not come with a rubber tip covering.

**Q: For a pencil shape umbrella 25'' looks a bit short isn't it? wondering what is the actual length please?**
A: The product from end to end is 35”
