I'm I nurse and thought I'd try ANYTHING before having surgery. I've tried 3 kinds of stretchy pull on braces and a lace up boot that immobilized the area. All that was OK but nothing helped minimize the bulge above my heel except this product. I wore the strap for around 6 hours the first time.. It immediately helped the pain, but the surprising thing was when I took it off, I could see a noticeable reduction in the size of the bulge. I've been wearing the strap for three days (off and on to allow for max circulation) and continue to see slow improvement. I'm on my feet 8 to 12 hours a day, so I can't imagine how well it would work if I could rest! I liked it so much, I bought a spare. Still applying ice and elevating in the evening. A definite 5 stars in my book!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome support for achilles tendonitis sufferers *by K***R on September 24, 2017* Awesome for Achilles tendonitis! For six months I have tried compression sleeves, kit tape, wrapping the achilles, heel lifts, different running shoes with a higher heel drop, and everything else that is suppose to help with tendonitis. Nothing worked. This strap was amazing for me. Even though it slightly kind of looks like an ankle bracelet for someone on probation, it has taken the pain away and I am running races again. It stays in place when running or walking, but not so tight that you feel like you are losing circulation. I will be purchasing more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WOW! What a difference this little strap makes *by S***P on March 7, 2018* WOW! What a difference this little strap makes! I have suffered from Achilles swelling and pain for 9 months. I know when I go to the doctor he is going to tell me surgery and while I'm under want to fix the bone I broke in my foot and let it heal on it's own. Frankly I don't want surgery until I can't walk on it. I have 3 dogs and not being able to walk them is not an option. I have tried compression wraps and socks. They just weren't working and my foot would start to swell up. This little strap I can wear all day, and not have any issues with my nagging achilles tendon pain. I actually want to start running again. But I think I will wait a few more days before I attempt it. Great product.
