This is NOT the best value I've found for these cups (25 cents or less on medical supply sites) BUT they were a good value to be able to get the free, fast prime shipping which was worth it to me. The manufacturing outlets are varied in case of a shortage in production or trade tariffs. **Q: Are these hard plastic** A: Not rigid like our 2 ounce but it's flexible plastic. Helen, My Medical Warehouse. **Q: Can these cups be sterilized?** A: You could check with the vendor but I don't believe that these are intended to be sterilized. Heating them will deform them. Ethylene gas or UV light would probably work but you would have to have some means of checking to see if they are sterile as you develop a method. Frankly, if sterility is required, I would look for another product from a medical supplies vendor. **Q: Do these actually have the 12.5ml measurement that is shown in the picture?** A: It has Fl oz, drams, cc, ml, and TBS measurements.
