The immediate impression is of a well designed and made set of clippers - the handles are well sculpted and really sturdy. The blades are also very sharp and as a result they're capable of cutting your nails very precisely which is important to me as a diabetic. Both clippers have a nail file built in which takes the form of a strip of abrasive material inset into the underneath of the handle - these work well but make sure you remove the blue plastic film which covers them.
