The connectable weights can reach up to 60g, which is perfect for balancing any setup with an external lens attachment or mic. It also helps take a lot of strain of the motors so they don't wear out or disengage whilst filming a scene or b-roll. I bought these when they were £12-15 back in 2018 and they're still in great condition. I will admit that it's a bit pricey for what you're offered, so If you can get it for under £10 it's an absolute steal.
