Very inexpensive, but not sloppily or cheaply manufactured! :) :) Very cute, can be used everyday. *by S***A on January 12, 2015* This is a pretty, functional everyday inexpensive set that is dishwasher/microwave/stovetop/oven (?) safe. Although inexpensive, it is not unsightly or blurred prints sloppily applied as some reports of cheap china detail. This looks nice, is well-made for the price, and frankly probably wouldn't break if I dropped it on the kitchen floor; it's not real "ceramic", and made for durability. It may not impress your mother-in-law on a Holiday, but they're really quite lovely and I'm very pleased with them, use them every day, and the price is terrific! Inexpensive, not cheaply or hastily manufactured. The dinner and salad plates are stamped "Made In England", the cups are made in China. :) I say get it!
