When I received it I immediately thought what a great gift it would make because of it's cool box, really another level for this great packaging.The RICHAXE Chef Knife Viking Series is a high quality knife at a very good price. I've been researching knives, knife steels, and sharpening techniques a lot this year and I wanted to upgrade at least one knife in my home to something really quality without breaking the bank. It needed to be a good chopper, stay sharp, easily sharpen, and cut with precision. This knife seemed to meet all my criteria so I purchased and I am very happy so far. I have not needed to sharpen it yet, but I am confident it will be easily sharpened and hold an edge. It also is light and easy to handle which makes precision cutting seem easy. Richaxe Chef Knife is an excellent product.Great Value! A perfect Christmas, no sense putting it under the tree - we had chopping to do! Great quality knife. The knife has a good weight to it and very balanced in hand. Trimming a brisket I found the edge to be very sharp and a perfect curve for doing even the tightest trim work on a brisket.
