It's exactly as described - Chrystal clear soft plastic that gives a good grip on the iPad when it's in your hand. All the cut-outs are in the right place and it fits perfectly. Exactly what I wanted and I'm very happy with my purchase. A word of warning to those potential buyers that are planning to use one of those folding front covers with the magnetic attachment - there's no cut-out to accommodate this type of front cover so look out for a rear cover that has the cut-outs for this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ DISAPPOINTED *by I*** on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2018* I bought this for my iPad Air 2 because I thought the silicone/plasticy material might make it 'sticky' and therefore easier to hold with one hand for long periods (while typing with the other). But, if anything, the case makes the device more slippery to hold. Moreover, and oddly, although the case is very lightweight, when it's attached to the (lightweight) Air 2 the device becomes bulky and feels much heavier to hold. Figure that! Anyway that negates the whole purpose of the purchase. Therefore I cannot recommend though I do accept others may have had a different experience.
