My grandfather would take me in mid-late July, near the end of the apricot season, to buy crates of apricots at throw-away prices. Then we would spend the next 3-4 days feverishly slicing, pitting and dehydrating them. These dried apricots take me back to those days. The mix is excellent, with some being exceptionally sweet and some being tangy. Some are drier and some moister, some are soft and some are chewy -- in other words, they are just like nature makes 'em. On the whole they are superior to those offered by TJ, having more flavor and a better ratio of sweet and tangy. Most of the negative comments I have read on here involve not reading the information (yes, they contain sulfites), or objecting to the variability in taste and texture of actual, natural dried fruit.
