My husband and I love it alot cooler. These magnets do help alot. I don't use the furnace since the wood stove seems to work better. The vents just collect dust inside. These covers really do the job. I can mop over them, stomp on them, the dog can walk over the vents more comfortably now, etc. They stay in place really well and they seem to be keeping out the dirt. I took off one star because they are white. I don't buy white. I throw away the white undies that come with the nice colors. Didn't even get married in white. I had to use my worthless "As Seen on TV" 12 piece furniture repair system magic markers to color over them. They don't look so good, but at least they blend in with the floor, sort of, and they are not white. So, these work really well for metal vents, but it would be nice if they would offer them in different colors. ### ⭐ A disaster waiting to happen! *by C***8 on Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2019* Plates caused over $1,500 in water damage. The covers reduced the air supply and resulting pressure caused central AC to freeze and shut down. Resulting melt caused extensive damage + mold. AC tech was another $275. If your unit is 5-10 years old the plates will eventually destroy entire central AC condenser. Then your only option is to replace the entire system. HVAC pros are 100% in agreement that these are an AWFUL product.
