How do they connect?** A: No they are not magnetic. They are just like dominoes, so one side is printed and the back side is blank. The only difference is that they have letters on them instead of numbered dots. **Q: Do they feel like real dominoes size, weight, material or are they much lighter & cheaper feeling?** A: Yes size is good. Weight is less because they are plastic, but not really loosing feel or quality. We have used on a regular basis with children and adults learning English.
