To her surprise, the Touch 3 did not dominate the space as expected due in part to it's modern clean look, colour and touch controls ( no clunky buttons) .My partner has been taking smoothies to work for the last year as an alternative to snaking on crisps and cheese, not only lost weight but gained a great knowledge of different smoothie recipes. The blender comes with a book that covers all the basic blend/meal prep recipes and more advanced recipes that we had not even considered like nut butters and cold soups.The jug on the T3 is far easier to work with than our previous blender's jug as I can now add ingredients as I blend instead of having to stop and start. This makes for a cleaner operation and a much more enjoyable experience.We both like to add frozen fruit and veg to our blends and the powerful motor quietly and effortlessly blends whatever you throw at it to a smooth finish. I personally like to run my frozen ingredients on the 1 minute setting on low and then whack it up to high speed for say the last 20 seconds, this, I find is perfect for protein powder shakes with kale or frozen spinach.My partner however prefers the one touch smoothie preset setting as she likes her smoothies with more texture. It is really easy to get excellent results from the T3.I had looked at quite a few units prior to buying our one as the market is pretty competitive just now and there is a lot of choice out there.If you are looking to replace a cheaper less powerful blender with something that is built to last I would recommend you buy the JR T3, but do shop around first for the best price as they can be bought cheaper.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars So easy to use, worth every penny! *by E***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 August 2018* Not only is this beautiful to look at, it feels top quality too, really well made and professional looking. Underneath the jug the blade attachment is good quality steel, all the others I've had have been plastic. The jug just sits into place, no twisting until you hear a click and hope for the best, it's so easy. I'm used to the type of blender where you turn the container upside down and twist into the machine which means if you need to add ingredients halfway through the blend it's messy. As this machine has a jug you can add extra ingredients into the top as you go. It comes in a lovely box with a recipe book and unlike some books you get it uses mostly everyday ingredients. I have a smoothie every day with chia seeds and sometimes nuts and it is smooth, no lumps or grit. I've made banana icecream with frozen bananas and cacao powder; tasty! Can't wait to try the hot drink and soup functions when the cooler weather arrives.
