On the reverse side of the controller is a 4 pin electrical socket, ready to accept the standard webasto controller 4 pin electrical plug. Thank you for your enquiry **Q: What are the approximate temperatures for each red bar along the dial?** A: Unfortunately I cannot answer this real accurately. Its a graduated scale that helps control the ambient room temperature, but really the temperature reference for this purpose is taken from the heater air inlet, rather than the actual controller, the controller itself does not have an integrated temperature sensor **Q: How does this rheostat work? Will the unit shut off when a desired temperature has been met or will it?** A: Dependent on heater version and build year, I would expect the heater to modulate between full heat output, and lowest heat output as it tries to comfortably maintain your set room temperature. Finally, if the differntial between set temperature and actual temperature is zero, the heater would automaticall yswitch off. There are a few variables to the above scenario however, depending upon exact heater model, specification, and build year.
